Mr. Fairfield is the VP, Technical Services at Clearlight Energy, overseeing the teams responsible for the environmental compliance and permitting, real estate, construction and safety.

Before Clearlight Energy, Mr. Fairfield was the Vice President of Technical Services, in the Business Development division, of Algonquin Power.  Much of his career has been in the renewable energy industry spanning hydroelectric, wind, solar, energy from waste and natural gas.

Mr. Fairfield holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from McMaster University, Certificate in Environmental Assessment from University of Waterloo and completed Master Manager Program from Wilfrid Laurier University.
