Clay Hamblen
Mr. Hamblen is the SVP of Operations at Clearlight Energy, overseeing the teams responsible for the daily operations, engineering, and performance monitoring of its portfolio of wind, solar, RNG and storage assets throughout the United States and Canada.
Before Clearlight Energy, Mr. Hamblen was a Vice President of Asset Management at LS Power, and has spent the majority of his career in the energy industry. Starting as a gas turbine field engineer for General Electric in power plant and industrial process applications, he then transitioned to various investment and asset management roles, working for private investors in the power and infrastructure space before assuming his current position.
Mr. Hamblen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
